Harking back to the great ocean liners of the 1920s, Disney Wonder offers oodles of style with a generous helping of fun. There are eight designated family areas, five youth-oriented spaces and seven adult-only areas on board the 2,713-passenger Disney Wonder offering activities to satisfy travellers of all ages. During days at sea, kids can take advantage of seven children's clubs with interactive and educational programmes catering to specific age groups. There are three freshwater pools - with Mickey's pool designed for children; Goofy's pool for families; and the Quiet Cove pool exclusive to adults. At night, adults can unwind and enjoy a section of the ship called Route 66, which features three adult only nightclubs and lounges.
Staterooms aboard Disney Wonder are among the first to cater especially for families and as a result are larger than the norm. There are nine accommodation grades but only about six cabin layouts. Categories with verandas include a Concierge Royal Suite that sleeps seven; Concierge one- and two-bedroom Suites; Deluxe Family Ocean-view Staterooms. Categories without verandas comprise Deluxe Ocean-view Staterooms; Deluxe and Standard Inside Staterooms, all beautifully designed, with polished wood finishes and maritime motifs.
Entertainment for younger guests on board Disney Wonder includes shows such as Disney Dreams - An Enchanted Classic and Toy Story - The Musical. Disney Wonder offers nine dining options, including Palo, a chic, adults-only restaurant serving northern Italian cuisine. For the whole family, Animator's Palate includes an innovative dinner show starring Disney characters, while the more formal Triton's serves contemporary American fare for breakfast and lunch and continental cuisine with a French flair for dinner.
