Launched in 2003, the Oosterdam carries just 1,964 guests in premium style and, fresh from a refit this April the ship now features BBC Earth's innovative programming, whereby guests will be taken nearer to the natural world through ground breaking concerts, films and kids activities, as well as themed special cruises. That's along with Broadway style shows and the legendary blues of BB Kings All Stars.

A new partnership with the Rijksmuseum features reproductions of some of the museum's most famous art, plus cultural activities led by Rijksmuseum personnel.

Nearly 70% of the accommodation features a private balcony and all staterooms offer Mariner Dream Beds with custom-designed mattresses and duvets, flat-screen TVs and bathroom. Luxurious Neptune suites also have fully-stocked mini-bars, personalised stationery and use of the Neptune concierge Lounge.

One level of Oosterdam's Vista Dining Room restaurant offers open dining, so you can arrive when you wish, while the other operates two sittings. Guests selecting flexible open seating can make reservations daily during a cruise up to 4 p.m. or simply walk up anytime during dining hours. The Pinnacle Grill offers a sublime dining experience with Bulgari china and Riedel glassware. Menu items include premium Double R Ranch beef and fresh seafood complimented by an outstanding wine list. Once every voyage, the Pinnacle Grill offers 'An Evening at Le Cirque' - a unique taste of the legendary New York restaurant.
