In its privileged clifftop location and boasting stunning panoramic ocean views, The Ritz-Carlton Abama is a 160 hectare 'finca' (private estate) tucked away in Guía de Isora, a tranquil and little known area of the island of Tenerife. The citadel is the heart of The Ritz-Carlton Abama complex. Here you'll find most of The Ritz-Carlton Abama's 13 bars and restaurants, its library and screening room, the decadently indulgent spa, secret gardens, ornamental lakes and numerous swimming pools, providing a wide choice for families and couples alike. The citadel is ideally situated between The Ritz-Carlton Abama's beach and its golf course, both within either strolling distance, or reachable in two minutes by chauffeur-driven buggy.



Moving further down through the hotel towards the ocean, you will find The Ritz-Carlton Abama Villa Rooms & Suites. Two storey buildings with vaulted ceilings and sea views from the top floor and vistas of the lush gardens and pool from the ground floor. Guests also have a golf buggy to whizz around the resort in. Each row of luxury villa rooms has a lazy-river type pool meandering in front of them. Breakfast for those staying in the villas is taken at the El Mirador restaurant.



There are also the Tagor Villas; a row of Villa rooms & suites reserved exclusively for adults. Guests in these rooms enjoy all the amenities of the other rooms and Tagor Villas guests have a pool for their exclusive use where water, soft drinks, beer & white wine is complimentary throughout the entire day. There is also a selection of appetizers served four times throughout the day for Tagor Villas guests plus a Personal Villa Assistant available on call between 8 am and 8pm. Breakfast for Tagor Villa guests is at the El Mirador, and golf buggies are also available for guest use.



For a luxury family holiday the complimentary kids club "Club Abami" opens daily from 10am until midnight, for children aged 4 to 12 years old. Children under 4 years old can enjoy any area of the kids' club when accompanied by a parent, babysitter or nanny. The film evenings are equally popular with the children, who enjoy the latest Disney adventure with popcorn, and the adults who get to have a peaceful, maybe romantic dinner.



The hotel boasts a choice of ten different restaurants including one headed by Michelin starred chef Martín Berasategui, and a stunning Japanese restaurant: Kabuki. Delightful views over the golf course can be enjoyed whilst taking lunch at the Casa Club or try authentic Spanish cuisine at the Tapas & Wine Bar.



A fully serviced beach is accessed either by your own golf buggy, or you can call for a service buggy if you prefer. Or you can walk down and take the funicular lift to the beach taking in the glorious swathe of soft sand and choosing which lounger you want to relax on to on your way.
