The 4,200-passenger Norwegian Epic offers innovations never before seen at sea including the Mandara Spa and Pulse Fitness Centre complex, which is among the largest afloat. From summer 2015, Norwegian Epic will be based year-round in Barcelona, offering informal cruising on an almost mind-boggling vessel that's an unrivalled choice for youthful adults and children alike. Norwegian has always been an innovator in entertainment and two new Broadway shows are coming to Epic: Burn the Floor, a sizzling Latin dance show; and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - The Musical. The ship will also feature an all-new pop music entertainment experience when the Cavern Club brings the legendary Liverpool venue where the Beatles performed to life.

Accommodation aboard Norwegian Epic is similarly mould-breaking. There are 13 accommodation grades with a host of price levels ranging from Studios for solo travellers, Inside Staterooms; and Balcony Staterooms with a 'New Wave' concept of curved walls to create extra space. The ultimate indulgence is the Loft Suites in The Haven, the ship's suite complex, with its own Concierge Lounge and private Epic Club and Courtyard Grill.

There are no fewer than 24 dining choices aboard Norwegian Epic. Possibly the most unusual is the 'Spiegel Tent - Cirque Dreams' theatrical dining experience with Broadway acrobatics and a touch of whimsy. Other Freestyle Dining options include the Manhattan Room, reminiscent of an Art Deco supper club; Cagney's Steakhouse and Churrascaria, offering Argentinean skewered meats presented tableside; the retro-chic Taste; and the Tuscan-inspired La Cucina. French gourmet cuisine is on offer in Le Bistro and there's always a buzz in O'Sheehan's Sports Bar and Grill, while there's a cornucopia of Asian-themed venues including Shanghai's, Wasabi and Teppanyaki Grill.
