Twinned with Statendam, Ryndam and Maasdam, Veendamcarries 1,350 passengers and includes a $2 million collection of original art and antiques to create a sophisticated on-board atmosphere. Mix is a new style of bar on board with three venues in one: Champagne for mimosas and fizz, Martinis for cocktails and Spirits & Ales, with live sports updates. Veendam takes food seriously, with four gourmet restaurants including the polished Canaletto for Italian fare and the sophisticated Pinnacle Grill with its top-rated wine selection. We recommend making a reservation for Formal Night as an extra treat, when everybody is dressed to the nines. The Rotterdam Dining Room offers delicious, five-course meals every night while the Lido Restaurant provides a more relaxed experience, with a casual dress code.

When you aren't exploring Bermuda, North America, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico or the Panama Canal, you can fill your days with cooking or digital photography classes, lounging by the pool on the Lido deck or ultimate relaxation in the Greenhouse Spa. At night, the Crow's Nest and Showroom at Sea nightclubs are the places to see and be seen.

Spa Suites are a new addition, featuring private balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, their own water features and privileged access to the spa. All cabins, though, offer massage showerheads, magnifying mirrors, nightly turndowns, Elemis amenities and bathrobes for each guest; all but the interior cabins have bathtubs as well as showers. Room service is available to all cabins.
