| Nestled in 40 acres of forest overlooking a serene lake is this lovely Marg a ret River retreat , a member of the ‘Small Luxury Hotels of the World’. The original homestead hosts a reception, a luxurious 80 square metre two bedroom Lodge Suite, a Lodge Room, a guest drawing room and retail gallery. Further suites are scattered throughout the tranquil gardens, some with private court yards. Extra luxury comes in the new Forest Spa Suites, each with their own spa bath. Another new addition is the lakeside restaurant, serving innovative dishes accompanied by fine wines produced from the lodge’s own Shiraz vines.
