In the untouched seclusion of a remote valley in the western corridor of the famous Serengeti, Gumeti River camp overlooks a bywater of the Grumeti River where wildebeest plunge though the waters on their annual migration. The whimsical sweep of flamboyant tents under thatch bring alive the excitement and romance of Africa. Each of the ten spacious tents lie along the banks of the river. There is a swimming pool in which to relax and stay cool during the heat of the day, and at night, around a starlit banquet, stories are shared of guests wide-eyed experiences in the majesty and exhilaration of Africa.

Grumeti River Camp Accommodation
10 spacious tents with en suite bathrooms and outdoor showers. Each tent perches on a raised platform. At night you will lie under the cool shade of African thatch grass, stirred by ceiling fans. Askaris (security guards) accompany you to and from your tent at night.
