Crown Princess

Luxury Cruises with Princess Cruises

Crown Princess, part of the same series of ships as the smart Ruby and Emerald Princess, sails in Alaska in summer and along Mexico's Pacific coast in winter. This big, elegant ship is suited to warm or cool climates; there's plenty to do on board, from indulging in the Lotus Spa, joining a class in the gym or catching a movie beside the Calypso Pool, which is overlooked by a giant screen.

Crown Princess is ideally suited to families, with children's clubs for all ages, including teens, and a wide range of dining. In addition to the three main dining rooms, splash out on an evening in the elegant Crown Grill, where a kitchen view seat will give you a vantage point from which to watch the frenetic action as chefs whip up magnificent steaks and seafood dishes. Sabatini's, the ship's Italian restaurant, is a real treat but you'll need a big appetite for the vast array of antipasti, pasta, mains and particularly, the Tiramisu. In the mood for snacking' Sit with a glass of wine and try the tapas in Vines, overlooking the ship's pretty Piazza, or graze on the delicate cakes and pastries in the International Café.

In the evenings, there's entertainment all over the ship, from duelling pianos in Crooner's, the Rat Pack-themed Martini bar, to circus acts in the Piazza and glittering shows in the Princess Theatre, with the accompaniment of a live orchestra. Club Fusion is a mix of cabaret, nightclub and casino and for those who want to dance till dawn, Skywalkers, high up on the top deck, has wonderful ocean views and a lively buzz.
