Luxury Cruises with Oceania Cruises

Caribbean Delights

For 2015 and 2016, Oceania Cruises' 684-passenger Insignia is going to be the only ship in the world on a constant world voyage. The ship will circumnavigate the world three times, each epic journey taking 180 days, with a chance to choose a section or indulge in the entire six-month odyssey.

Insignia was refurbished in 2014, emerging with a sparkling new look inside bringing her more in line with the chic style of bigger sisters Marina and Riviera. The suites and staterooms have all been revitalised in colours reflecting the sun, sea and sky. A Baristas coffee bar has been added, showing off Oceania's partnership with Illy coffee, as well as a cook-to-order grill in the informal Terrace Café where you can watch while your steak or lobster tail is prepared to order. The Canyon Ranch SpaClub has been redecorated and for budding artists, an Artist Loft added, where sketching and painting lessons will take place. Lounges have been remodelled, too, with shades of blue, chocolate and mint in the popular Horizons Bar and a new look for Martinis, the ship's cocktail bar.

Oceania prides itself on its cuisine and Insignia offers a wide choice, from the beautiful Grand Dining Room (don't forget to admire the Versace bone china) to Toscana, serving Italian specialities and the Polo Grill, offering everything from Oysters Rockefeller to Kobe beef, lobster, all manner of steaks, swordfish and veal. After dinner, there are classical concerts, light jazz, or dancing to a live band in Horizons. If you prefer an elegant, classy cruise to big-ship razzle dazzle, this could be the choice for you.
