Launched in 2003 and extensively upgraded in 2016, Regent's 700-passenger Seven Seas Voyager is one of the most luxurious ships afloat. Every suite has a teak balcony, for example, and the ship is all-inclusive to the extent that even shore excursions in almost every port are part of the overall price.
Expect such luxurious touches on board as marble bathrooms, Egyptian cottons, pillow menus, FREE wifi and in the higher grade suites, butler service and iPads. Fabrics throughout the ship are sumptuous, in shades of soft taupe, cream and plum, with textures of rich leather, cool marble, velvet and silk.
Regent is renowned for its excellent cuisine and there are four gourmet restaurants to choose from. Compass Rose, the elegant main dining room, serves fine European cuisine, while Prime 7 is famed for its superb steaks as well as Alaskan king crab and Maine lobster, while high-class Italian dishes, including hand-made pasta are available in Setti Mari at La Veranda in the evenings. By day, La Veranda serves as a casual dining venue, with outdoor seating and a pizzeria. At the pool grill, freshly prepared burgers and salads, as well as sandwiches, are available in a beautiful setting that received a facelift in the recent upgrade, not least stylish new deck furniture.
Chartreuse is their brand new restaurant preparing authentic, decadent French cuisine is an art form and is the raison d'ętre of our French restaurant, Capturing the diversity of French fare, our seasoned chefs offer an exquisite dining experience with tantalizing tastes and enticing presentation. Already a guest favourite on Seven Seas Explorer, Chartreuse is now a part of Seven Seas Voyager. Consequently, each and every dish served in Chartreuse is absolutely sublime and purely French.
Seven Seas Voyager has five bars including the smart Observation Lounge, a cigar lounge and an intimate nightclub where karaoke evenings are occasionally held. The show lounge, Constellation, is of superb quality and features musical theatre custom-prepared for the cruise line. The atmosphere on board is very much do-as-you-please and we would recommend this ship to anybody looking for a genuinely luxurious experience at sea in like-minded company.
