SeaDream I

Luxury Cruises with SeaDream Yacht Club

SeaDream I, the twin sister of SeaDream II, is a small, luxurious ship following the sun year round, sailing the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean in winter. Carrying just 112 passengers, the ship has the look and feel of a private yacht, from the warm teak decks and attentive crew to the 'can do' attitude. Want a private table for two on deck under a full moon' No problem. Or fancy sleeping out under the stars one night on one of the generous, squashy Balinese beds' The company will provide a duvet and pyjamas - and if you want to take a bottle of champagne to bed, you can, as drinks are included in the price of the cruise.

SeaDream I is known for its superb food. Breakfast and lunch are taken on deck, with everything prepared from the very finest local ingredients. Because of the small size of the ship, the chef is able to go ashore in most ports and buy whatever looks good in the markets. Guests are welcome to go along for the experience. Dinner is served in the elegant Restaurant and really does represent the finest in seagoing cuisine, with a unique organic, raw food option and a newly-introduced range of Japanese dishes.

SeaDream 1's cabins are beautifully furnished and sumptuously fitted out, with DVD players, marble bathrooms, pillow menus and generously stocked minibars. There's a small spa, offering Asian-inspired treatments, and a gym, as well watersports equipment and a special platform at the stern that can be lowered for an impromptu dip in the sea on a fine day. The ship also carries a fleet of bicycles for guests to use in port. New wine-themed cruises have just been introduced, with masterclasses, tastings and vineyard visits.

What we love most about SeaDream Yacht Club is the friendly atmosphere. Guests come back just to sail with their favourite crewmembers - and often make lifelong friends among their fellow passengers as well.
