Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh is the first of its kind on the Red Sea, an all suite resort with a total of just 104 exclusive suites. Set in forty-eight acres of palm-filled hillside terrain with a large and private beach, Sahl Hasheesh is a spectacularly dramatic resort.
The large central building is in the shape of a palace and each of the suites also resembles a small palace. Shady marble colonnades, domed pavilions and atriums open to the sky in a contemporary Arabic setting, and unlike so many resorts, the buildings only serve to enhance the environment, not detract from it.
Paths meander between the suites, including six spacious Royal Suites with a separate bedroom, living room and raised dining pavilion. With panoramic views of the Red Sea and a swimming pool in a private courtyard, the Royal Suites offer everything you could possibly desire. In addition, there are 12 larger Grand Suites, each with its own private swimming pool (heated seasonally).
Offering an a la carte menu of Continental and Oriental cuisine, The Restaurant has commanding views of the Red Sea and the resort’s illuminated domes after dark. Alternatively, The Pergola is an incredibly romantic spot, located by the swimming pool and again overlooking the ocean. This restaurant offers a light menu of salads, pastas, pizzas and light snacks as well as cocktails and desserts throughout the day.
To help you keep in shape, the resort’s gym is equipped with state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment to tone every part of your body. A Tennis court is available at the resort, and a round at a nearby golf course can be arranged with the concierge.
