| If you seek unpretentious, barefoot luxury and romance set in an African paradise, then Kiwayu Safari Village is for you! Visited only by fishermen, the dhow that still come to collect fresh water and the occasional sports fisherman, Kiwayu boasts total seclusion. No need to pack outfits for every occasion – the atmosphere is so relaxed you need only take a bathing costume and sunglasses! This exclusive resort can only accommodate 36 guests in the 18 spacious and beautifully decorated local-style cottages (bandas) which are dotted along the shoreline. Simple Italian cuisine with delicious flavours and a wide variety of seafood are served in the dining room. Feast upon home made tagliatelle or charcoal-grilled lobster with tarragon sauce, followed by fresh fruit salads of mango, papaya and passion fruit with homemade sorbet. Spend your days napping on the beach and taking in your breathtaking surroundings, or if you find your sea-legs, go snorkelling, deep sea fishing, windsurfing or swimming. Evenings are whiled away, watching the sun go down and making new friends at the bar. |
