Nestling on an unspoilt hillside on the southeastern tip of St Barths, Le Toiny is small, private and very secluded, providing an ideal setting for relaxation and quiet contemplation. Facing a stunning, palm fringed coastline are 13 individual, pastel-hued Villa Suites, each with a private pool and large terrace which overlook the Caribbean Sea.
Spacious living areas flow into bedrooms, all furnished in native wood, accentuated by island carvings and watercolours, which in turn lead on to large bathrooms.
The main house, at the heart of the resort, is a welcoming meeting place in which guests can swim in the pool, socialise and dine. Le Gaiac Restaurant is a poolside venue with wonderful views over the island’s rugged Windward coast. The chef is well known for his gourmet French fare, and provides delicious cuisine for an appreciative clientele.
Gustavia, the picturesque capital of St Barths with its chic boutiques, colourful markets and excellent restaurants, is nearby. You may like to do a little island hopping, perhaps visiting neighbouring Anguilla, Saba or St Kitts. |
