The 14 stylish villas and ten elegant suites that make up the Elounda Gulf Villas and Suites offer exquisite luxury in a stunning location. Set on a clifftop overlooking the gulf of Mirabello, floor-toceiling windows frame the mountainous coastline, sweeping bay and island of Spinalonga in the distance. Outside, blue and white dominate; the geometric lines of the whitewashed villas set off dramatically against the aqua backdrop of the sea and pools.
Each of the villas, available with two to four bedrooms, has its own pool with Jacuzzi. The smattering of antique furniture collected by the owner on her travels, the large marble lined bathrooms with trompe l’oeil ceilings and the fully fitted kitchen, enhance the sense of luxury. The Executive and Presidential Villas feature Jacuzzis, a sauna and a small gymnasium to pamper and invigorate yourself, while the fabulous four bedroomed Royal Villa has a large infinity pool plus two Jacuzzis for the ultimate in luxury. Children are very welcome at Elounda Gulf Villas and Suites, which are designed to accommodate families, couples or individuals. Baby-sitting and cots are available.
The villa-suites, new for 2003, are located close to the main pool and have the same elegance and attention to detail. All villas and villa-suites have a CD player, TV and DVD player for your entertainment.
Cretan and international dishes are available at the A Là Carte restaurant, and the main dining room is also available for breakfast lunch and dinner.
