The splendid Grand Hotel Exelsior Vittoria stands in an elevated position in the centre of the old town of Sorrento, commanding unsurpassed views over the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The three contrasting buildings that make up the hotel have been lovingly preserved and improved by the Fiorentino family for over four generations. A friendly atmosphere prevails throughout the hotel, in which each room has its own cosy and intimate character. The hotel’s décor and furnishings are an eclectic mix of old and new, with antique furniture gracing some suites. Rooms overlooking the bay offer spectacular views from their large terraces while rooms looking out on to the sunny garden feature spacious balconies.
A short walk among orange groves, olive trees and blooming flowers brings you to Sorrento’s main square if you want to sample the local cuisine or explore the city.
